Mine is shade because of its bulk, 100% stance, only needs one buff and it is fun overall as it got me back into maplestory also I love pirate classes and hero classes so shade was just made for maplestory.
Evans follow a unique development system instead of the typical 10, 30, 60, 100 scheme. They use a wide array of attacking skills, a heart-touching storyline. Oh, did I miss the part where you have a pet dragon to fly, glide, and follow you around at every command? It's so cute starting out as a hatchling too.. who's a big scary dragon? WHO'S a big scary dragon? Yes, you.. YEEEESS YOU!.
Shades are nice for those who want to get down and get their hands dirty fisticuffs style without needing to stop every few minutes to rebuff. Although I find their storyline to be more depressing than a winter snowstorm in mid April.
Phantom's are the jack-of-all-trades class for individuals who demand variety in their attacks. Want to be a magic user? Steal I/L Archmage skills. Want more DPS? Swipe skills from Bowmen. Looking for something a little more up close and personal? Hit up a warrior for a few of their blade swashbuckling abilities. Want to play party support? Go steal from Bishops.. (wait, that came out wrong..)
speaking of which, It would be sacrilegious if I didn't say Bishops. The clergyman magic branch is not a OHKO class by means, but rather it's better suited for the thinking person rather than a hack & slash button masher. Instead of relying on pure damage output, Bishops focus on overall battlefield control, damage mitigation, reading opponents attacks, and preparing counter defenses necessary for their team's survival. The Exp+ buff with self hyper passives are also a nice little perk of the trade
