Salutations everyone, Orrador here with a guide/walk-through on the Tower
Defense Party Quest.
This particular party quest has 6 stages, with rewards and a boss at stages 3 and 6.
Stage(s) 1, 2, 4 and 5:
Every stage in this Party Quest will start you off with a timer counting down from three to zero. Now, the way this PQ is set up is there is a orb/portal in the middle which your team must protect, this is surrounded by 3 gates. One on top left, bottom left and bottom right. Beyond these gates are 3 more gates, all of which are in the same directions, top left, bottom left and bottom right. The best plan of action and what has worked for me every time is station 1 person at each gate, the strongest of the group being stationed at the bottom left. The bottom left gate is where the boss spawns. We'll get to that in a second. And the last guy will be left as a "Roamer", who runs around and repairs any gates that have been compromised and heal any NPC's that may have fallen. You will want someone who is on their A-game for this, because the gates can fall fast, and once that happens all hell breaks loose. Assign whoever is fast and attentive to details on the mini map this task, they will ultimately be your saving grace.
QUICK TIP FOR ROAMER: There is a GREEN FLAME in the middle of the map that gives the user a huge speed boost, this will help dramatically getting to gates and NPC's faster and boosting your chance of success!
Each stage, including stages 3 and 6 as well, are 2 minutes each by the way. So the major goal to this is each member takes out the mobs of enemies, protecting the gates as best as possible, while the roamer runs around and does damage control on gates and people. Easy peasy!
Stage(s) 3 and 6:
Now Stages 3 and 6 are the "Boss" stages of the PQ. They're still the same as the other stages, only with the added threat of the dark mage boss that spawns at the bottom left gate. He's not a requirement to kill but he is a huge annoyance because his only attack is a long range blast that stuns the person it hits. It can be troublesome if he were to lock on to the roamer as they repair things. If you manage to survive the 6 minutes leading to the end of Stage 3, or the 13 minutes leading to the end of Stage 6 (13 because of the extra minute given for the bonus/rewards after Stage 3), you will be rewarded with some sweet, sweet loot at the middle of the stage, which can SOMETIMES hold 4 Star (Purple) equipment! (Only after Stage 6 though, not after 3, unless that has since been changed).
Regardless this PQ is great for money, EXP and equipment around levels 35-40.
Hope this helps out those who were curious about the Party Quest!
