Can't ever find enough people to do a party quest, not to mention parties are worthless since monsters are to easy to kill. My suggestion is merge all game servers so the remaining players can have fun playing together before the game completely dies. An additional bonus EXP/Drop per party member feature in the party tab(to eliminate solo training and bossing).
I strongly believe solo play is the leading cause to the dying of maple story. A large majority of people are quitting this game. I truly strongly believe that the merging of ALL game servers(excluding reboot) would help players return because there would no longer be separate worlds. You know better than I do, that would possibly flood some of the high-end training areas of the game, so an additional 10 channels could be added to fix this.
Reinstall the removed feature "Auction" from KMS patches. This removes the need for players to buy free market stores which lowers profit for the company, but in turn increases appeal amongst players(which may cause some players to return which increases overall purchased karma koin).
The thing that all people want in this game is to be on top, to be known and respected. Features can be easily added to respect this idea. Guilds can be used for this. The guild feature has so many potential routes of growth that could make this game explode with entertainment. Alliance skills, Alliance wars, Additional rankings(instead of 1-5, there could be 1-10) To stimulate rank. Rank could automatically be acquired through amount of guild Contribution acquired.
For example: Entry rank level: 10, upon 25,000 contribution acquired advance to rank 9. Upon 50,000 Contribution acquired advance to rank 8. Upon 75,000 contribution acquired advance to rank 7. Upon 100,000 contribution acquired advance to rank 6. Upon 125,000 contribution acquired advance to rank 5. Upon 150,000 contribution acquired advance to rank 4. Upon 175,000 contribution acquired advance to rank 3. Upon 200,000 contribution acquired advance to rank 2. Rank 1 is obviously and indefinitely guild leader position, which cannot be overtaken by contribution accumulation. Each rank could have authority or a larger set of abilities over the lower ranks.
For example: Rank 1(Guild Master) could have the ability to vote on an alliance war towards another alliance. It would require 3 out of 5 of the guild masters in the alliance to vote yes on the alliance war. An alliance war could consist of a series of Flag races, Jump quests, bossing runs, point accumulation battle(This would be similar to the Original monster carnival party quest. Each party can use items dropped by the monsters to their advantage to beat the other team. The team to get the most points by the end of the 10 minute round wins the alliance war event.) Upon winning an alliance war, Their alliance name would gain a set amount of points. The alliance with the most points has the highest ranking on the alliance war board in each town, and the highest ranking alliance get's to have to glory of being number one, but also gets an hourly buff of 2x exp and drop that lasts 10minutes, as well as a slight damage% and boss damage% boost for as long as they remain as the reigning alliance.
The alliance wars would reset once a month, to grant each alliance a chance to get a head start at the reset. Only one alliance war could be waged at a time, and will end approximately 72 hours after being waged. In order for both alliances to participate in an alliance war, their must be 5 guilds in each alliance, and each alliance must have a 3/5 yes vote from the guild leaders of each alliance. For example, Alliance blue has guilds 1-5 and alliance red has guilds 6-10. Guilds 1,2,3 all vote yes to wage an alliance war against alliance red. alliance red guild leaders have 24 hours to vote. within 24 hours if guilds 6-10 don't come up with 3/5 yes votes, the invitation is canceled.
