MapleStory Link Skills Discuss
With the release of Aran and Evan Revamp, we now have a total of 21 Link Skills.
Of the 21, 12 have a max level of 3, including the new Aran Link Skill and Evan Link Skill.
Let's talk about the 9 Link Skills that do not have the max level of 3.
Cygnus Knights: The way you level up this one is that each of the 5 Cygnus Jobs has a max level of 2, but can be stacked into a single slot up to level 10.
Resistance: Leveling this Link Skill works the same way as Cygnus' Link Skill. Multiple Resistance characters can stack their Link Skill into a single slot up to level 6, and once Blaster's released, level 8.
Zero: This Link Skill has a max level of 5, but leveling this Link Skill works a bit differently than the others. Instead of reaching certain levels, you level this Link Skill up after finishing certain chapters of Zero's Storyline.
Jett: This Link Skill works much differently than the others. What it does is give STR, DEX, INT, LUK, Weapon ATT, and Magic ATT by a random amount and the numbers change whenever the timer hits 0 or you use Star Dust or Supernova Dust. The Link Skill has only 1 level, but the Max Number of the stats or Stat Rank as the game calls it can be increased or decreased.
Hayato: This Link Skill has only 1 level and what it gives is 10 All Stats and 5 Weapon/Magic Attack. Very pathetic. I once saw a suggestion of making Hayato's Link Skill give Attack Speed, but we all know how powerful Attack Speed boosts are. In order to have an Attack Speed Link Skill balanced, I thought of making it work like Mihile and Angelic Buster's Link Skills in that it would be a Buff Link Skill. The buff would temporarily give 1 Attack Speed and have a long cooldown. Level 1 would last 30 seconds, Level 2 would last 45 seconds, and Level 3 would last 60 seconds. Cooldown would be 300 seconds in all levels.
Xenon: This Link Skill has only 2 levels because GMS declared that 15% All Stats is too OP. And yet, Demon Avenger's Link Skill has a max level of 3 and the number at level 3 is 15. How can 15% All Stats be more powerful than 15% Damage?
Kanna: This Link Skill has the same effect as Demon Avenger's Link Skill, they both increase your damage. However, the Kanna version has only 2 levels, while the DA version has 3 levels. What, is having a second 15% Damage Link Skill too OP? Also, just to remove the redundancy, I thought of changing Kanna's Link Skill to a Final Damage Boost Link Skill. But since Final Damage boosts are more powerful than regular damage boosts, 15% Final Damage would definitely be too OP. Therefore, the values should be 4% at Level 1, 7% at Level 2, and 10% at Level 3.
Shade: When Shade was released in GMS, his Link Skill has only 2 levels. I thought from that point on, all new Link Skills released in GMS have a max level of 2. But psyche! Aran and Evan broke that tradition. So now this begs the question. How is 15% Death Ignore Chance at Level 3 too OP?
Kinesis: This is the other Link Skill that has only 2 levels before the Aran and Evan Revamp was released in GMS. What, is 12% Min Crit Damage at Level 3 too OP? Also, why are the values divisible by 4 instead of the traditional 5? What, is 10% Min Crit at Level 2 just a little too OP?
On a side note, how about updating Cannoneer's Link Skill so that the All Stats boost would be a percentage instead of a flat value? E.g. Level 1 = 3% All Stats and 5% Max HP/MP, Level 2 = 4% All Stats and 10% Max HP/MP, and Level 3 = 5% All Stats and 15% Max HP/MP

one other thing to note, I only made around 14 mill maplestory mesos on average (including sellable drops) every 30 minutes, so in a four hour 2x session that'd only be around 56 million maplestory mesos

I Hate the Lag Issues in MapleStory, Always
Hey guys, do you meet the Lag Issues recently in MapleStory, I am sure this is not a client issue, some mystical power is here. MapleStory is really a good game, fun and harmonious, but Lag Issues is the biggest weakness of the game.
